Archang (Persian: ارچنگ)[3] was a village in, and the capital of, Shandiz Rural District of Torqabeh District, Mashhad County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,830 in 523 households.[2]
After the census, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Binalud County (now Torqabeh and Shandiz County).[5]
