El Pingo or San Julián is a village and municipality in Entre Ríos Province in north-eastern Argentina.[2] The town was formed around El Pingo station.
Geography and Population
El Pingo is located in the center-west sector of the province of Entre Ríos, 70 kilometres (43.50 mi) from the city of Paraná; 480 kilometres (298.26 mi) separates it from Buenos Aires, the federal capital of the country.
The local population in the rural area in 1991 was 559, which grew to 679 in 2001. The population of the governing board's jurisdiction was 903 inhabitants in 2001.
