The Union of Mobutuist Democrats (French: Union des Démocrates Mobutistes), commonly known as UDEMO is a political party in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is led by Nzanga Mobutu, a son of former president Mobutu Sese Seko.[2] UDEMO is one of the main parties in the Sacred Union of the Nation.[3]
UDEMO won nine out of 500 seats in the 2006 general election,[2] and one of out 108 seats in the 2007 senate election. In the 2011 general election, UDEMO won two seats in National Assembly. UDEMO won one seat in the 2018 general election and one seat in the 2019 senate election.[3]
