"A World Without Heroes" Kiss hard rock talde amerikarraren abestia da. Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Lou Reed eta Bob Ezrin agertzen dira idazle kredituetan, eta beraien 1981eko Music from "The Elder" albumean argitaratua izan zen.^[1]

Jatorrian "Every Little Bit of Your Heart" izena eramango zuen, baina letra aldatu zitzaion albumaren kontzeptuan sartu ahal izateko, eta Lou Reedek letrarekin lagundu zuen, "A world without heroes is like a world without sun" (Heroirik gabeko mundua eguzkirik gabeko mundua bezalakoa da) idatziz.^[2]
