Ezra Abbot (Jackson, 28 aprile 1819 – Cambridge, 21 marzo 1884) è stato un biblista statunitense.

Biografia

Laureatosi nel 1840 presso il Bowdoin College, fu bibliotecario (1856-72) e quindi professore di critica del Nuovo Testamento (1872-84) presso l'Università Harvard. Fu inoltre membro della Commissione americana per la revisione della versione della Bibbia e collaborò con Caspar René Gregory all'ottava edizione del testo critico del Nuovo Testamento di Konstantin von Tischendorf.
