ロロ諸語 (彝諸語、Ngwi[2]、Nisoic[3]とも) は、シナ・チベット語族チベット・ビルマ語派ロロ・ビルマ諸語の一支であり、50-100ほどの言語から成る。主に中国の雲南省で話される。
下位分類
Bradley (2007)
従来、ロロ諸語はリス語と彝諸語を含む北部語支 (Nothern) と、それ以外の南部語支 (Southern) に区分されてきた。しかし、Bradley[2]やThurgood[4]は、これに加えて中央語支 (Central) という区分を提唱している。中央語支は、これまで北部語支・南部語支のいずれかに分類されてきた言語を含む。さらにBradley[5][6]は、南東語支 (Southeastern) という区分も提唱している。以下はBradleyによるロロ諸語の下位分類である (カッコ内は話者数)。
- 北部ロロ諸語: ノス語 (200万人), ナス語 (100万人)など
- 中央ロロ諸語: リス語 (940,000人)–リポー語 (250,000人) (ロロポー語 (570,000人), ラロ語 (320,000)を含む), ミチャ語 (50,000人), ラフ語(英語版) (600,000人), チノ語 (21,000人) など
- 南部ロロ諸語: アカ語, ハニ語, プノイ語–ビス語, ポロ語。および、ウゴン語 (Bradley 1997では削除)
- 南東ロロ諸語: ニス語, プラ語, サニ語, アザー語, クルラ語, ムジ語, ポワ語 など
Bradley (1997) は、ウゴン語をビルマ諸語(英語版)に含めている。その他、下位分類のなされていないロロ諸語も存在する (Gokhy語, Lopi 語, Ache語)。
Lama (2012)
Lama (2012) は音韻論・語彙における共有改新の数理的な分析に基づいて、ロロ・ビルマ語群のうち36言語の下位分類を試みている。そこからビルマ諸語(英語版)とモンズ諸語(英語版)を除いたロロ諸語の系統分類は以下の通りである。
