E-mu Modular System

E-MU 시스템즈(E-MU Systems)는 소프트웨어 신시사이저, 오디오 인터페이스, MIDI 인터페이스, MIDI 키보드 제조업체이다. 1971년에 신시사이저 제조사로 설립된 E-mu는 샘플러, 샘플 기반 드럼 머신, 저비용 디지털 샘플링 뮤직 워크스테이션의 선구자였다.

1993년 E-mu 시스템즈는 크리에이티브 테크놀로지의 온전한 자회사가 되었다.[1] 1998년, E-mu는 과거 크리에이티브 테크놀로지가 인수한 또다른 신시사이저, 샘플러 제조업체인 엔소닉과 합병되었다.[2] E-mu는 나중에 실리콘밸리의 변두리에 위치한 스코츠밸리로 옮겨졌다.[1]
