Shakespeare Wallah je američki crno-bijeli igrani snimljen 1965. godine u režiji Jamesa Ivoryja i produkciji Ismaila Merchanta. Radnja se događa u Indiji u prvim godinama nezavisnosti te prati putujuću teatarsku trupu na čelu sa članovima britanske porodice Buckingham, odnosno njihove napore da se prilagode novim okolnostima u kojima se publika od teatra okreće prema bollywoodskim filmovima kao omiljenom načinu zabave. Film je velikim dijelom bio inspiriran stvarnim događajima, odnosno porodicom Kendall, čiji članovi - Felicity i Geoffrey Kendall - tumače fiktivne verzije samih sebe. Shakesperare Wallah je prikazan na Berlinskom festivalu, gdje je izazvao veliku pažnju, a indijska glumica Madhur Jaffrey osvojila Srebrni medvjed.
