The Return of Swamp Thing (sh. Povratak Stvorenja iz močvare) je američki science fiction film snimljen 1989. godine u režiji Jima Wynorskog. Predstavlja nastavak filma Swamp Thing iz 1982. godine, odnosno drugi po redu film temeljen na istoimenom stripu. U njemu Dick Durrock ponavlja naslovnu ulogu, odnosno lik briljantnog znanstvenika koji je sticajem okolnosti postao monstruozni biljno-životinjski hibrid. Radnja prikazuje kako se ponovno suprostavlja svom neprijatelju, zlom znanstveniku Dr. Arcaneu (čiji lik ponovno tumači Louis Jourdan), ali kako mu u svemu pomaže Arcaneova pokćerka Abigail Arcane (koju glumi Heather Locklear). The Return je, za razliku od prethodnog filma, napravljen kao komedija, ali ni publika ni kritika za njega nisu imali razumijevanja. Bio je izuzetno loše dočekan, a Locklear je za svoj nastup dobila Zlatnu malinu za najgoru glumicu. Godinu dana kasnije je započelo snimanje TV-serije Swamp Thing, koja je odbacila humor i vratila se "ozbiljnom" pristupu originala.
